SpinChem Achieves ISO 9001 Certification - Strengthening Quality and Reliability for Rotating Bed Reactor Technology

SpinChem AB has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, issued by the independent certification body RISE*, for the design, development, production and supply of reactor-based solutions for fluid processing.

The certification confirms that SpinChem operates under a controlled, auditable, and continuously improving quality management system, ensuring that customers receive consistent product performance, controlled engineering changes, and that the company meets customers' expectations on product and service performance.

For customers in biotech, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and environmental applications, SpinChem's certified management system provides a foundation for supplier qualification, validation, and regulatory compliance, enabling SpinChem's technology to be integrated into regulated and mission-critical operations worldwide.

In nuclear applications, SpinChem's rotating bed reactor technology is used to help clean and treat contaminated process liquids, for example, by enabling selective materials to capture radioactive or hazardous substances from water. The certified quality system ensures that this work is carried out with documented processes, strict control of changes, and full traceability—essential requirements in highly regulated environments.

"The ISO certification shows that we have structured ways of working that support consistent delivery and continuous improvement. It gives our customers independent confirmation that quality is built into everything we do," says Moa Hedestig, COO and Quality Manager.

The RISE audit confirmed that SpinChem meets ISO 9001 requirements for risk management, traceability, handling of deviations, and continuous improvement.

The certification strengthens SpinChem's role as a reliable technology partner for organizations that depend on stable and scalable solutions for treating liquids and carrying out advanced chemical processes.

RISE* is Sweden's research institute and innovation partner, and one of Europe's largest research institutes. As an independent government research institute, RISE works to develop technologies, products, services and processes that contribute to a sustainable society and a competitive business sector.
