Annual Meeting of the Surface and Materials Chemistry Section

Emil Byström is going to be a speaker at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Surface and Materials Chemistry Section of the Swedish Chemical Society, taking place 4–6 November at Umeå University in Umeå. The event theme is Materials and Surfaces for Sustainability and Health, From Northern Resources to Molecular Solutions. The program includes invited lectures, a poster session, networking, a conference dinner, and tours of KBC’s analytical facilities, including electron microscopy, XPS, vibrational spectroscopy, XRD, and NMR platforms. Whether your work is in mineral processing, membrane biophysics, battery materials, or biosensors, the meeting brings together topics relevant to a wide range of research interests. This broad scope is designed to support cross-disciplinary discussion and help create opportunities for new research directions and collaborations. We look forward to welcoming you to Umeå! For SpinChem, the event is an opportunity to connect RBR technology with wider conversations about how engineered solid-liquid processing can support more efficient, practical, and scalable chemistry.
