SpinChem piston for V2 and V3

Professional-grade piston ensuring consistent performance of V2 and V3 reaction vessels with integrated sealing technology, including O-ring. FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) coated silicone seals offer a broad temperature range for sealing applications. Typically, they can handle temperatures from 60°C to +205°C (-76°F to +401°F)

Material: PTFE

Typical Temperature Range: -60°C to +205°C (-76°F to +401°F).

Short-Term High Temperature: Some can withstand 260°C (500°F) for a short period.

Low-Temperature Performance: Silicone's flexibility makes it suitable for very cold environments, even down to -100°C.

High-Temperature Resistance: While silicone has excellent low-temperature performance, Viton, which can also be used as a core material, is known for its high-temperature resistance.

FEP's Role: The FEP coating provides chemical resistance and a smooth surface, which is helpful for applications involving viscous fluids or where contamination is a concern.
